The following new releases are featured in this Spring’s Wine Club shipment.

Wine Release – Cottonwood Cellars, 2003 Pinot Noir

With the cool Spring we are having, this is a nice medium bodied wine in a Classic Burgundian style.  It was fermented in 100% French oak barrels.  It has a nice light spicy flavor and good fruit on both the nose and pallet.  It goes well with Italian dishes with a tomato base and with salmon.

Wine Release – Cottonwood Cellars, 2002 Lemberger

Another medium bodied red, this is the Austrian varietal which has become so popular for us.  It is very fruity in both the nose and pallet.  Originally designed to be served with pork and other German style foods, it goes well also with snacks, cheeses and crackers.  This wine is light enough to drink by itself or with lighter foods.
